40 Days For Life at Lawrenceville Planned Parenthood
Gwinnett County residents are currently organizing for the Fall 40 Days For Life Lawrenceville Planned Parenthood Campaign.
The Fall 2011 Campaign will run from September 28 to November 6, 2011.
The 40 Days for Life Campaign has three primary components:
Prayer and Fasting: The whole 40 Days for Life period is a time when we pray without ceasing, and encourage others to do the same. Fasting for spiritual reasons is a form of physical prayer. You can fast from food, hobbies, alcohol … any source of desire or hunger in you that may at times compete with your hunger for the abiding, life giving presence of Jesus Christ. God hears and answers prayer.
Constant Vigil: Constant vigil at Planned Parenthood, Lawrenceville, GA: The vigil is a round-the-clock prayerful witness to the clinic’s patients and employees, and to the entire community, that evil is in our midst and that with God’s help, it will be defeated. The testimony is made to birthparents and family members that there are alternatives to abortion.
Community outreach: A door-to-door petition and education drive reaches out to local Lawrenceville residents. Informational flyers will raise awareness about abortion. Church involvement, media contact and campus outreach also contribute.
Please put the 40 Days For Life Campaign on your calendar and prayerfully consider signing up to participate in the prayer vigil and community outreach.
